Case Study Analysis Papers Guidelines

1. Grading rubric will be provided (posted on Brightspace). Writing quality will be significant to the overall grade of the paper

2. Follow the Assignment instructions & Case Analysis Paper guidelines provided by Professor (posted on Brightspace)

3. Research, research, research – research outside the textbook case and use only quality sources (e.g., literature, journal reports/articles)

4. Integrate what we have been discussing in class

5. Be thorough – support your opinion. Be specific – do not make general statements and do not make a statement without any support/back-up.

6. Prepare a quality paper – organize your thoughts/paper – present your Case Analysis in a logical sequence. Do not prepare Paper as a Q & A. Use the Questions as a framework for writing your Paper

7. Be creative/analytical – do not just summarize what you read. I want to hear from you

8. Writing Skills – quality, quality, quality – exercise quality control – use good grammar, do spell check, and watch out for typos – proofread, proofread, proofread.Work with the Writing Tutor

9. Organization of your paper – papers should be fluid and well organized. Use headings/sub-heading to delineate your points, as appropriate. And use Page #s

10. Perform in-text citations of your sources (APA or MLA) and prepare a separate Bibliography on last page.

11. Paper Format – 12-point font (Times New Roman or Arial), double spaced, 1-inch margins on right and left side, as well as top and bottom of your paper.

12. Brightspace/Turnitin – paper must be submitted via Brightspace/Turnitin, which will check for plagiarism (be under 20% matching).
