Book Summary: The Leadership Challenge: How to make extraordinary things happen in organizations
I selected the leadership book “The leadership challenge”, the fifth edition by Kouzes and Posner. The book was initially published in 1987, with the fifth edition released in 2017. The authors delve into leadership practices and how organizational leaders can leverage various leadership skills to ensure they meet their organization’s strategic goals and objectives. They developed The Five Practice Leadership to understand what corporate leaders must do to motivate their teams and simultaneously inspire all employees at all levels within the organization.
The book’s primary theme revolves around motivational leadership to inspire teams to work towards achieving organizational goals. The authors suggest that the leadership style chosen by an organizational leader significantly influences organizational outcomes. Therefore, by reading this book, current leaders and aspiring leaders can learn how to motivate and inspire their teams, more so through transformational leadership techniques to ensure that they have highly motivated and efficient teams.

Rewrite, rewrite, rewrite
All good writing is rewriting. Put your review aside for a few days and then look at it with fresh eyes. Check for flow and transitions between paragraphs and sections. Are the ideas in the proper sequence? Is your language clear and direct? Ask a friend to proofread/copyedit or take it to a student tutor or trusted professor. Writing is one of the most important skills acquired in college; this paper grade can make (or break) your final grade in this course. I have to read the work, please give it your best efforts.
