In this chapter, you read about how information systems can be used to provide a competitive advantage to businesses.

Assume you are a CEO creating a small game development company that will be working on puzzle games for iPhone and Android devices. What IT systems would you need to put in place in order to be successful?

Use Excel to create a table of these tools. Be sure to include, for each (each should be a column heading, and each row should be one software item, and you can have more columns if you’d like):

• Name of the tool
• Price
• Length of license
• Description of why you need it
• Who will use it?

Some simple research into game companies and the tools they use should give you ideas about the tools that are needed. Here is partial list to get you started. It is NOT complete and you MUST have at least 2 more tools than what I’ve listed here.
