Strategic Management

Each report should be based on one case covered during the term and should be

one single-spaced page in length (excluding front matter and references) in Size 12 Times New Roman

font. You have the freedom to select any two of your favorite cases assigned during the term, except that

you should not select the same case as your Team Case Presentation (described below).

Each report is expected to mirror that of an abbreviated consulting report which offers (1) a streamlined

overview of the strategic challenge or decision at hand, (2) one or two clear, actionable and well-grounded

recommendations for a firm to use to address this challenge, and (3) unaddressed or resultant risks that the

firm must continue to navigate. While consulting reports can take on many forms, effective reports are

succinct yet reflect an understanding of key issues within the case. Further, effective reports offer viable

strategic solutions that account for competitive complexities and operational realities
