Leaders are servants and if they want employees to place their trust in them, they must have what it takes to gain that trust. We all recognize that unethical leadership practices do exist. However, decisive leadership is necessary to have the best outcomes for the organization. Besides, it is about being psychologically safe and if this does not happen, then employees will not trust the leader to guide them in the right direction. Remember, nobody knows more about group behavior than the leader because this person-in most cases-has seen it all.
